A challenging cooperative game based on Oink Games’ worldwide hit “Deep Sea Adventure,” selling over 200,000 units. Players work together as a team on a desperate mission to recover supplies on the moon. Will the crew be able to survive the magnetic storms and limited oxygen supply?
A group of astronauts were stranded on the moon and their emergency supplies were scattered all over the surface. Faced with rapidly vanishing oxygen, they must pool their strengths together in a mission to gather up the scattered supplies.
Each turn players use oxygen cards and roll the dice to receive action points. Make use of actions such as, Move, Gather Supplies, Develop a Route, and Activate OGS (Oxygen Generation System) in order to replenish oxygen. Explore the surface of the moon, gather up supplies depending on the number of players, and aim to make back to the base unharmed.
However, some supplies have been destroyed and players won’t know it until they make their way back to the base. On top of that, the container that holds the supplies and oxygen cards has a maximum capacity of only 5. To make matters worse, if a magnetic storm card appears when replenishing oxygen cards with the OGS, the OGS will break! There’s no time to waste just standing around! If only 1 player runs out of oxygen it’s game over, so sharing oxygen cards with each other is an important strategy.
Each player is assigned a different role. While making use of their special skills, consult strategies with each other and try to complete the mission! The fast moving lunar rover might prove useful too.
Rule FAQs
Q. For the players who have returned to the base, is it necessary for them to use oxygen cards every turn?
A. The players who have returned to the base, they don’t recieve any more turns. As such, they are unable to use oxygen cards, and/or make exchanges.
Q. In the beginning, while on the base, is it possible to “Gather Supplies” from the neighboring supply chip, or can I build a route?
A. Yes, both are possible.
Q. All of the route pieces or OGS chips have used.
A. You cannot place any more of the chips that have run out.
Q. Is there any way to “Gather Supplies” on a supply chip that is surrounded by route chips on both sides?
A. This is possible by using the “Activate OGS” or “Abandon Supplies” action on the supply chip that is surrounded on both sides route pieces and then moving to that chip. Also, the Inventor can move to a chip with a route piece on it, so they can “Gather Supplies” on that chip.
Q. For 5 players, all of the oxygen cards will be dealt at the beginning of the game and the discard pile will only have a magnetic storm card in it.
A. If you don’t replenish your oxygen after the oxygen cards have accumulated in the discard pile, when you shuffle the discard pile and return into the draw pile, the chances of drawing a magnetic storm card increases.
Q. Does the robot need to make it back to the base?
A. No, it doesn’t.
